On another exciting trip to the Milnerton Market I found this Old frame for just R20. As I walked away the merchant made me promise I will make something beautiful out of it, hopefully I succeeded...
There was some glue stuck on the frame that I first had to scrape off. I used a NT-cutter because it was all I could find, but I'm sure there is a better way to do it.
The frame was incredibly dirty so I took my time washing it, just look how dirty the water was.. eeewww
I sanded the frame a bit to make sure that all the glue was off and the surface was smoooooth.
I taped up the outer part of the frame that I wanted to keep as the wooded texture, to make sure it stays as is.
I sprayed it with black Chalk board paint that I had left from a
previous project
And here it is...
I bought this frame with his big brother that is slightly bigger. I'm still deciding what to do with it so let me know if you have any ideas...
